Here is the delicious Ackee and Saltfish recipe from Donna Carnegie.  Donna runs The Gord Martineau  Cedarbrae Breakfast Club:   Ackee with Saltfish Soak the saltfish in cold water for 1 hour Pour off the water Add fresh water and cook fish until tender Heat cooking oil and sauté onions, garlic, scallions, tomato, scotch bonnet peppers and sweet peppers Add flaked saltfish, ackee and black pepper Cover and allow it to cook over heat for 5 minutes Serve with rice and/or dumplings. Ashton Meadows Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club at Ashton Meadows Public School was established in 2018 to better serve the children and families in the Markham community. On average, 60 students attend our breakfast program each morning and enjoy a hot, nutritious meal. Last year, over 15,000 meals were served! TCBC Winter Coat Drive 2019 – 2020

Every year, The Children’s Breakfast Clubs host a Winter Coat Drive in support of children and families who do not have adequate winter clothing. We believe it is crucial that children have access to warm winter clothing so that they can enjoy the outdoors during frigid weather and remain healthy and safe.
