In celebration of Black History Month, we reached out to our communities and asked them to identify Black community members who have made a difference. We wanted to create this poster to give these community members recognition and show appreciation for all that they do to better our cities and communities. This poster is just a small representation of all the contributions made by Black Canadians in communities across our great country in the past and present.
We truly hope that it will help spread awareness about how the foundations of our communities and our country are built with many contributions from the Black community. Black History is Canadian History. Let us all be proud of this heritage.
