On Tuesday, December 3, 2019 The Children’s Breakfast Clubs is holding its annual Christmas Gala which focuses on Caring & Sharing. This year’s event will highlight the hundreds of volunteers who made it possible for the children’s breakfast clubs to operate.

This is the Ninth Annual Caring & Sharing Christmas Gala hosted through the generosity of Spin Master in partnership with The Liberty Entertainment Group. This elegant facility allows the children to fully experience something they never have before; being served a luncheon in a fine dining atmosphere. In accordance with the event’s theme of Caring & Sharing, the children will select two gifts from Spin Master – one to keep for themselves and one to share with a relative or close friend.

This is an integral part of the Christmas Gala, as it is empowering our children to know that they are not ‘just recipients’, but rather has the ability to give, share and contribute to the happiness of their siblings or peers. This becomes a powerful motivational tool, as year after year, we continually see these acts of kindness develop and foster within the hearts of these students. We hope that the students that participate with the Christmas Gala continually strive to give back to their community circles while understanding that they can make a difference.

This highly-anticipated event will start the holiday season for over 1,200 children from across the Greater Toronto Area and rural Ontario. The children will be entertained in the Play Room by the characters from Paw Patrol, musicians, magicians, face painters, henna artist, photos with Toronto Police Service, Toronto Fire Service and Mr. & Mrs. Claus, as well as Spin Master employees demonstrating the 2020 holiday season’s most popular toys.

Over 300 volunteers from Spin Master, the Liberty Entertainment Group, Toronto Police, Carquest, Centennial College, North American Produce Buyers, Carpenters Union and a number of different cultural organizations will be in attendance.

This event is a true reflection of partnerships and the theme of ‘Caring & Sharing’ with organizations such as Toronto Police Services, Carquest, Centennial College, North American Produce Buyers, The Don Valley Hotel & Suites, and The International Policing Association. At the very heart of the Breakfast Clubs is an understanding that children need intellectual stimulation from a variety of sources including reading, computer work, educational games and arts and crafts.
