“Time together as a family is a gift.”

On Saturday, June 15th, the Children’s Breakfast Clubs invited our children, our families, the Toronto Police Service, Toronto Paramedic Services, our Breakfast Club Leaders, local artists, musicians, the Breakfast Clubs friends and supporters, volunteers and members of the public to join us for the Thomas Foster Family Picnic.

It was a beautiful sunny day at The Exhibition Place and activities were set up all around.  From face painting and henna tattoos, to tug of war and bean bag tosses, our children and their families had numerous exciting activities to enjoy!  There were yummy eats from Classic Cuisine and Community Neighbourhood Officers from 14 Division talking to the children and their families about bike safety and being part of a safe community.  Children could explore what it is like to be in the driver’s seat of a police cruiser and they were able to walk through the inside of an ambulance. We had pro ball players and coaches on the courts teaching drills and playing mini games. It was an exciting and event-filled day!

Take a look at some of our amazing photos which captured the day!
