Help Make Students’ Prom Dreams Come True: Prom Project 2025

As we approach the graduation season, The Children’s Breakfast Clubs is excited to host our annual Prom Project 2025. This initiative is designed to help graduating students look and feel their best for their special day. Many students face financial challenges that make it difficult to afford formal wear, accessories, and grooming items for prom. With your support, we can make a difference in their lives and help them feel confident and empowered as they celebrate this milestone event.

About Prom Project 2025

Prom Project 2025 provides new or gently used dresses, suits, dress shirts, ties, dress shoes, jewelry, and new and sealed makeup and personal hygiene items to students across the city. We aim to ensure that every student who attends their prom feels confident and excited for their big day.

How You Can Help

Volunteering Opportunities

We invite you to volunteer at this meaningful event and help our students prepare for this unforgettable occasion! We are looking for passionate and dedicated volunteers to assist in the preparation, set-up, execution, and tear-down of this special event. By volunteering, you will play a hands-on role in helping students find the perfect prom outfit.

  • Volunteer Dates & Times:
    • April 15th: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Set-Up)
    • April 16th: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Event Support)
    • April 17th: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Clean-Up)
  • Location: Yorkgate Mall (1 York Gate Blvd, North York, ON M3N 3A1)

Sponsorship and Donation Opportunities

We welcome monetary and in-kind donations, such as formal wear, makeup, and personal hygiene items. Additionally, we are looking for swag bag items including new/sealed makeup, personal hygiene products, reusable water bottles and small electronics, and raffle prizes like gift cards or gift baskets.

  • Sponsorship Opportunities: We offer vendor tables to showcase your brand and services, with sponsorship levels available at different price points. Examples include beauty and grooming services, educational institutions, and community support services.

Work Experience Opportunities

If you’re a student of fashion, hairdressing, makeup, esthetics, or event planning and looking for hands-on experience, Prom Project 2025 is the perfect opportunity for you. This initiative allows you to showcase your skills, gain real-world experience, and give back to your community. You can contribute by helping students choose the perfect prom attire, providing makeup touch-ups or full applications, creating elegant hairstyles, offering light beauty services like manicures or skincare advice, or assisting with event setup and coordination. By joining us, you’ll help create an unforgettable prom experience for students while enhancing your professional skills.
