The TCBC 2023-2024 Coat Drive

The Children’s Breakfast Club is holding its annual coat drive. Our coat drive began in 2011 when we realized that some of our children and families could not participate in outdoor activities.  Prior to the COVID pandemic, we would have a number of pop-up storefronts at different ends of the GTA, where our amazing volunteers would arrange all the coats on coat racks, in an organized fashion.  We would invite our families to come in and choose two coats per family...

TCBC Spotlight on Dwayne Morgan

Dwayne Morgan is a two-time Canadian National Poetry Slam Champion. He began his career as a spoken word artist in 1993.  In 1994, he founded Up From The Roots entertainment, to promote the positive artistic contributions of African Canadian and urban-influenced artists.
