As students return to classrooms, The Children’s Breakfast Clubs is seeing a dramatic rise in demand. In a recent CityNews segment with Faiza Amin, President Rick Gosling shared that the program served over 500,000 meals last school year across more than 40 Ontario communities — and the need is only growing.

The meals provided are not only nutritious but also culturally reflective of the diverse backgrounds of the children served. With food insecurity on the rise, more schools are now on a waitlist, hoping to bring the breakfast program to their students.

More Than Just Breakfast

In addition to its daily meal program, The Children’s Breakfast Clubs runs several community initiatives throughout the year, including:
• Black History Month Celebration
• Prom Project
• Backpack Giveaway Program
• Thanksgiving Food Hamper Giveaway
• Holiday Toy Drive
• Winter Coat Drive
• …and more
These programs ensure that children and families are supported beyond the classroom, throughout the year.
