Prom Project 2026: Empowering Students Across Toronto
Prom Project 2026 marked another incredible milestone for The Children’s Breakfast Clubs, as the initiative expanded to both the east and west ends of Toronto, reaching more students than ever before.
Now in its fourth year, Prom Project continues to grow in response to the needs of the community. This year, more than 1,000 graduating students were supported through two successful events, providing access to free formal wear and meaningful connections for their future.
A Celebration of Confidence and Community
Prom Project is about more than just finding the perfect outfit; it’s about helping students feel confident, celebrated, and ready to take their next steps.
Thanks to generous donations from community partners and supporters, students were able to choose from a wide selection of dresses, suits, shoes, and accessories. Each student left not only with a look they loved, but with a renewed sense of confidence as they prepared for graduation.
The West End event featured a special appearance by North America’s Perfect Miss, Veronica Deen, whose Crown Campaign added an extra touch of magic. With the donation of crowns and tiaras, students were made to feel truly celebrated.
Supporting What Comes Next
This year, Prom Project expanded its impact by connecting students with valuable post-secondary and career resources. Representatives from:
* Seneca Polytechnic
* Humber College
* George Brown College
* Centennial College
* TDSB Next-Steps Employment Centres
* Toronto Police Service
were on-site to guide education pathways, career opportunities, and life after high school.
A City-Wide Effort
This initiative would not have been possible without the amazing support of our volunteers and community partners. Their time, energy, and generosity created a welcoming and uplifting environment for every student who attended.
Special thanks to:
* Toronto Police Service for their continued volunteer support
* Yorkgate Mall and St. John Paul II Catholic Secondary School for hosting this year’s events
* Community partners including SmartCentres, American Express, Vasanti, Classic Cuisine, Pather, Emery, Safe Storage, and Rukhsar Jaffer Photography
