This year, The Children’s Breakfast Clubs proudly celebrated the 20th Anniversary of our Caring & Sharing Christmas Gala, our biggest and most meaningful celebration yet!
On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, more than 1,200 children from underserved communities across the GTA arrived at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex for a magical day supported by Spin Master and the Liberty Entertainment Group.
A Historic Year of Partnership
For the first time ever, three police jurisdictions, Toronto Police Service, Peel Regional Police, and York Regional Police, joined together to celebrate and uplift the children. Their presence brought excitement, joy, and a powerful sense of belonging.
We were also honoured to welcome special guests including:
Councillor Brad Bradford, Councillor Jamaal Myers, Chief Jim MacSween (York Regional Police), Chief Myron Demkiw (Toronto Police Service), and Chief Jim Jessop (Toronto Fire Services).
A Day Filled With Joy
The ballroom was transformed into a festive wonderland featuring:
- A delicious holiday sit-down meal
- Live performances from The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada Band, Honour Guards, Bagpipers, and the Humber College Ensemble
- Engaging activities, music, and holiday cheer
Every child received a gift and chose one to give to a peer, reflecting the heart of our mission: caring, sharing, and community.
As President Rick Gosling shared,
“Every child deserves to feel valued, celebrated, and supported… this event shows them their community truly cares.”
