As winter approaches and the temperatures drop, it’s time for us to come together and make a real difference. We’re excited to announce The Children’s Breakfast Clubs Winter Coat Drive, running from September 16, 2024, through March 14, 2025. This is your chance to help ensure that no child in Ontario faces the cold without proper warmth.

Why Your Donations Matter

Winter can be tough for many families, especially when it comes to staying warm. Your gently used winter coats and accessories can bring comfort and warmth to children who might otherwise go without. By donating, you’re not just giving away a coat; you’re helping a child stay healthy, active, and ready to enjoy the winter season.

What We’re Looking For

We’re collecting:

  • Gently used winter jackets for kids and adults
  • Winter boots for kids and adults
  • Winter hats and toques for all ages
  • Mittens, gloves, and scarves for all ages

How to Donate

You can drop off your donations at:

  1. CARQUEST Locations: We’re partnering with CARQUEST for drop-off points across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Check out the [CARQUEST locations] to find the nearest spot and their hours. Please remember that donations can only be dropped off during business hours—no outdoor drop-offs.
  2. TCBC Head Office: If it’s more convenient, you can also bring your donations to our head office in North York. Just drop us an email at info@breakfastclubs.ca to set up a drop-off time.

Our Mission

Every year, our Winter Coat Drive helps families who struggle to afford warm clothing. With the support of our community, we distribute coats and winter gear through various local partners, schools, and social agencies. Families in need receive vouchers to pick out what they need, with our dedicated volunteers making sure they find the right fit and feel supported.

Our Goal

Last year, your incredible generosity helped us collect over 50,000 coats. This year, we’re aiming even higher—our goal is to reach 70,000 coats. Every single donation helps us get closer to making sure more families stay warm this winter.
