Black History Month

The Children’s Breakfast Clubs and VIA Rail Canada took 200 children to Ottawa as part of the 2019 Black History celebrations.

This year, we have selected a few Medical Professionals to highlight the theme of ‘Generations of Keeping Canadians Healthy” Many Black Canadians have contributed to Generations of keeping Canadians healthy in many ways. From Doctors, to nurses, to dentist and pharmacists, Black Canadians have a proud history present and future. This trip was to highlight the recognition and achievements that Black Canadians have contributed to throughout history, not just for one month in February but rather focusing on these achievements throughout the year.
