It was an incredible party at The Hockey Hall of Fame to kick off the 2025 Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign!
We were joined by so many wonderful friends and supporters who truly make up our TCBC family. A huge thank you to Tim Hortons for hosting this fantastic event-their staff’s enthusiasm and dedication made the day truly special. Special thanks to Angie and Marwan for welcoming us at their Tim Hortons Hockey Hall of Fame location.
We also want to recognize the tremendous support from members of The Toronto Police Service, Toronto Fire, and Toronto Paramedic Services, Alan Broadbent and Vali Bennett from the Maytree Foundation along with numerous individuals and companies whose contributions made this kickoff a success. Without their collective support, The Children’s Breakfast Clubs wouldn’t be able to do the vital work we do.
The Kick-off was filled with fun and meaningful activities that brought everyone together. Rick Gosling, President of The Children’s Breakfast Clubs shared the impact of the organization and the importance of community support in ensuring no child goes hungry. Guests also enjoyed a lively Cookie Decoration competition, where creativity and smiles were abundant. We were thrilled to introduce a brand-new mascot, adding extra joy and energy to the celebration. Attendees had the heartfelt opportunity to write messages for seniors, spreading kindness beyond our immediate community.
The Smile Cookie campaign runs all week, from April 28 to May 4, 2025, with 100% of the proceeds from every Smile Cookie sold in the GTA/Toronto regions going directly to The Children’s Breakfast Clubs. We encourage everyone to treat themselves to a Smile Cookie-or even better, buy many! Each cookie purchased helps provide hot, nutritious, culturally reflective breakfasts to children across Southern Ontario, supporting their health, happiness, and success.
