It’s that time of year again – fall is coming to an end and we are gearing up for our annual Winter Coat Drive.

The Children’s Breakfast Clubs is once again extremely determined to assist children and their families who do not have suitable warm clothing for frigid Ontario winters.  This is the our fourth year facilitating the community-driven event alongside our supporters. We have a cumulative goal to collect 50,000 clean, good quality, gently used coats and items of winter clothing. We are accepting donations in child and adult sizes!

Our overall vision for the 2017 Winter Coat Drive is to ensure no child in Ontario is cold this Winter season.

What We Accept

Clean, good quality,  gently used:

  • coats
  • sweaters
  • hats
  • mitts
  • and scarves
    …in all sizes.

How It Works

The Children’s Breakfast Clubs has a donated coat warehouse where we keep all coat donations. Every year during the coat drive the Toronto Police hand out vouchers to families they come across during their work who need these coats the most. Each family member is given a coat voucher and is then invited to come choose a suitable coat for them at our coat warehouse which operates throughout the Winter season.

This year the honorable chairs of our Winter Coat Drive will be Jennifer and Georgia Valentyne. They have been taking on many mother-daughter initiatives and our Winter Coat Drive is one of them.
