The Children’s Breakfast Clubs are organizing a winter coat drive AGAIN this year and VIA is proud to be a partner.  The goal of this campaign is to collect gently-used winter coats and warm clothing to distribute to Ontario families in need so they can keep warm this winter.  This year they are aiming to collect 40,000 coats.

Toronto’s Union Station is one of the coat drop-off points.  We invite VIA employees to bring their gently-used winter coats, scarves, mittens, tuques, and sweaters to one of these station in the Québec City – Windsor corridor: Québec, Montréal, Ottawa, Kingston, Toronto, London, and Windsor.  The clothing will be sent by train once a week to Vladimir Jean-Pierre at Union Station.

We also invite you to take a picture with your donations and use hashtags #TCBC and #Wintercoats2016.  The coat drive started on October 21 and will finish on November 30, 2016.  Be generous!
